These terms apply to tours booked with Exotic Asia Holidays Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd (company registration 898289M), trading as Malacca Tours, holder of Ministry of Tourism Licence KPL/LN/6245 and MATTA member MA3643.

1. Agreement

By booking a tour or using this website you agree to these terms and to any product-specific terms shown on the booking page for the tour you select.

2. The tours we operate

We provide guided tour services, including:

  • Malacca night tours with the river cruise and a decorated trishaw ride
  • Historical Malacca day tours with a local Peranakan lunch
  • Combo tours pairing Malacca with Putrajaya or a Kuala Lumpur evening

Tours are offered in private and shared formats where stated. Itineraries are indicative and may be reordered by your driver-guide on the day for traffic, weather or attraction operating hours.

3. We are not the river cruise operator

The Malacca River Cruise is run by its own official operator, which sets its own fares, schedule and ticket terms. We are a licensed tour company whose guided tours include the cruise. We do not restate or vary the cruise operator's terms, and their online tickets are date-specific and non-refundable under their own conditions.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are quoted in Malaysian ringgit (MYR) on each tour's booking page, which is the authoritative source for what applies on your travel date. Prices may change without notice for future bookings; a confirmed booking is held at the price you paid.

5. Bookings and confirmation

Bookings are made through our booking provider's checkout and confirmed by e-voucher sent to the email address you supply. Please check that the voucher matches what you intended to book and tell us straight away if it does not.

6. Cancellation

The cancellation window is set per product and shown on that tour's booking page. It is the applicable policy for your booking. Third-party tickets reserved as part of a tour may carry their own non-refundable terms.

7. Pickup and no-shows

Please be at the agreed pickup point ten minutes before the scheduled time. Our vehicle waits up to 30 minutes, after which the booking is treated as a no-show and no refund is due. Pickup radius and any surcharge for outlying areas are confirmed for your booking before departure.

8. Your responsibilities

  • Give accurate contact details so your driver-guide can reach you
  • Tell us in advance about dietary requirements, mobility needs or medical conditions
  • Supervise children at all times during the tour
  • Follow reasonable safety instructions from your driver-guide and any site operator

9. Changes and cancellations by us

We may modify or cancel a tour where weather, road conditions, government restrictions, safety concerns or events beyond our control make it necessary. Where we cancel, we will offer an alternative date or a refund of the amount paid to us.

10. Liability

We operate under Malaysian tourism licensing and carry the insurance that licensing requires. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed onward transport, arising from your use of our services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Intellectual property

Content on this website, including text, layout, graphics and photographs, belongs to Exotic Asia Holidays Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd unless otherwise credited, and is protected by copyright.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
